The watercolor art and its technics QnlOw
Of all the painting arts, watercolor art is the most attractive one for me. But it’s a bit difficult to apply, because of its painting techniques. To deal with this art, you need five kinds of materials; watercolor paper, brushes, watercolor palette, pencil and water. The paper’s weight must be between 200 gr. and 300 gr. If the paper is below 200 gr, it will get too wet and crumble. The brushes should have at least three sizes; the thick one is for big areas, the middle one is for middle areas and the thin one is for making details. First, prepare these tools and sketch your picture that you wanted with a pencil on the paper. And then wet the part of the paint area which is first planned with a brush to spread the color better, and then paint it first with the lighter tones than you’ll have chosen as the main color. This technique is important to emphasize its shadows, and to make it more realistic. NextIn the next steps, respectively, you should use the colors from lighter to darker. While painting your sketch over and over, if you don’t want the colors to mix each other, you should wait for it to dry it before painting it again. Later, if you need, you can emphasize some parts of the picture: for instance, you can use white to show the lights or black to show the shadows, etc. But the white color which is there in your palette, might be transparent to emphasize the lights. Instead of this, you can use special white pens or acrylic paints. Besides, to make the colors more lighter or darker, you should use water with different proportions; more water for lighter colors and less water for more intense colors. If you pay attention to these steps, your work will look great.
