The given table shows that the proportion of people was interested in various sports in 1999, 2004 and 2009.
It can be seen from table that, the majority of people were interested in football, which was more than a half people interested in tennis in given time period. However, the percentage of interested people in football were drop from 54% in 1999 to 52% and 48% in 2004 and 2009, respectively. Similarly, the ratio of people who shows interest in tennis was slightly decreased in the given time period. Whereas, the proportion of interested people in swimming shows fluctuating trend in between 17% and 20%.
Furthermore, the popularity of volleyball and rugby increased from 1999 to 2009. In 1999, the ratio of people who shows interest in volleyball and rugby were 12% and 8% and at the end of the years people interest in both sports were increase to 24% and 17%. Moreover, cycling and golf showed similar trend, people interested in cycling rose from 32% to 34% and people who showed interest in golf rose 10% to 13% in given time period.
Overall, it can be seen from table that, football is most popular sports while golf and rugby were least popular games from 1999 to 2009
