The given line graph depicts the percentum of ladies labourers and workers aged 50 plus in the British employment force between the year 1971 to 2019.
To begin with, a fluctuating upward trend is observed for women workers. There is a 10% raise from 1971 to 47% at the end of 2019.
Further, from 1990 a trend of workers aged 50 plus was observed too. From 21% in 1990 a steady growth to exact 10% growth was seen till 2019.
Overall, it is evident, that for half a century for both women and workers aged 50 plus ratio was increasing. However, women workers have worked for half a century and the trend for workers aged 50 plus started from 1990 only.
