Overall, the donations done by the British people of 2010 and 1990’s have slowly increased and then decreased by age. The donations done by the 1990’s British people are more than the donations done by the British people in 2010.
1990:
In 1990’s, the age group of 18-25 had made a donation of around 15%. The age group of 26-35 has made double the donation to the charity. The highest donation done by 1990’s was the age group of 36-50 which was above 40%. The donations fell around to 35% for the group aged between 51-65. There was again a decrease in donation by the age group greater than 65 which was just above 30%.
2010:
In 2010, the donation given by age group 18-25 was just above 5%. Contribution done by the people between age 26-35 was around 30%, which was almost 6 times than the previous age group. The charity donation done by the age group was 51-65 was almost 40%. The age group 36-50 and the age group greater than 65 made the same amount of donation which was around 65%.
Comparison:
In 2010, the donations contributed by people over 51 years of age have only exceeded the donations done by the people of 1990’s.
