The government should support artists so that they can focus on their artistic skills and produce something extraordinary. Artists like Leonardo Da Vinci are popular all over the world, everybody knows his painting Monalisa. Not all people believe that the government should prioritize the artists. Artists should be self-sufficient, and the government should not misuse its resources on artists. government should instead invest the funds separated for artists to develop programs that are beneficial to the larger section of society. I think the artists should be supported by government as the artists like painters, musicians and poets. With proper support from government, the artists can focus their full time on their art. If the artists are allowed to spend more time to focus on art, the artists will produce more arts. There are a lot of examples where the artists are not provided with favorable environment and the artist are not able to focus on their art. The support provided to certain group of people by government is always debatable. There will always be people who will oppose the decision of government. The artists are people can represent the country to the world, their art should be foster and promoted by the government so that they can get recognition by the world. Artists like Picasso, William Shakespeare, Michael Jackson, etc. are popular all over the world, their art pieces are sold in millions which is subsequently helping their country to make more money than the provided support to them.
