The two mops illustrate the layout Islip down centre now and proposed changes in the future.
Overall, It can be seen the significant changes in middle of town centre which compared to planned development map. These, it will make a cycle rood, regulation of others uses to road, replace some areas.
At present, there is a road west to east and the shops settle down to main road both sides. There are two roads which connecting to the main road. one of them placed to the east side and reaching to the school, and another road that placed in east, end up the port. There are loin housing areas which placed to contrast in behind of shops to south way.
The future planned including some proposals. These, the main road will transforming to circle road in the middle. Other areas will settle within this road. There will be the road which only use pedestrians in passed to middle. There will added bus station, shoping centre, car park and new housing in the north side of pedestrians road, which means, the areas which consist of only shops will transforming improvement area. The walking road south side only consist of shops. The housing where placed to behind shops replaced and added new housing one more. Park areas will be more small than now layout. The school and other housing will stayed same places.
