The line graph compares the amount of 2 kinds of tourists who are first time visitors and returning visitors for Caryl Island within 8 years.
Overall, it is manifest from the graph that there is a clear upward pattern in the number of both trends. However, there appears to be a fluctuation over the period shown.
In 2000, the figure for new visitors stood at 8000 in Caryl Island. By contrast, the number of these visitors was twice less, at 4000 than it was in the initial year. After two years, the pattern for first time visitors rose slightly to 6000, even though it represented a dramatic increase of under 12000 over the period of 8 years.
As shown in the graph, the number for visitors who came back to this island was at roughly 3000 in 2000. However, the rate of returning visitors increased significantly to 10000 coming to 2002. Then, the figure for this type of visitors had a slight growth between 2002 and 2004. Nevertheless, it reached a peak of about 15000 in 2006 in comparison with the amount of returning visitors was a gradual decrease, at just under 14000 at the end of the given period.
