The graph illustrates the rate of men and women holders who were qualified in 5 different types in 2005 in NZ. Overall, it is clear that qualification holders was higher in the rate of men than women. For men the most demanded type of qualification was trade certificate among others, while this figure for women was diploma. The least preferred types of qualifications for both genders were oppositely. In terms of trade certificate, the rate of men was almost 90 percent on this as opposed to around 12 percent for women. The demand undergraduate degree for females was higher than the rate of males at around 55% and 45% respectively. With high proportion the percentage of men for masters/Phd was more preferred than women at about 75% and 25% correspondingly. On the other hand, the percentages of remaining types of qualifications were the same both of them. Above 60 percent was preferred by women on Diploma which was significantly more than men which was almost 40 percent. However, in percentage of both genders( men and women) were observed the same results but oppositely at about 60% and 40% respectively.
