The bar chart shows that the number of hours of unpaid work per week is unequally distributed between men and women.
Overall, married women have an upward trend in each category, whereas married men have a downward trend. Furthermore, married women scored the highest, while married men scored the lowest for having three or more children.
Women who do not have children are unpaid for a week from the start, accounting for 30% of the total. Meanwhile, married women with 1-2 children see a sharp increase in the percentage of 20% and reach a high of 55% in the category of having 3+ children.
Looking specifically at the household salary of married men, there is unpaid work in the section without children, which is significant 18%. That is the highest point among married men, and those who take care of 1-2 children have a slight decrease of 2% before remaining down at 15%.
