Annual office rental fees in five global cities in 2008 and 2013 are illustrated in the bar graph, and the table provides the percentage of workroom vacancy in those cities. Overall, which stands out from the first chart is that the office rent in city B in 2013 was the highest one compared to the spending in other towns in both 2 years mentioned. Moreover, it is apparent from the table that in 2008, city E stood on top in the empty workplace rent list, while in 2013, that position transferred to city D. According to the column, throughout 2008, city A headed the list of office rental finance with over 1, 500 dollars per square meter. Followed by that in city B spending just a little under 1, 500 dollars, and ranked finally town is city E with about 500 dollars per unit area rent. However, in 2013, the leading position was replaced by city B which took approximately 2, 200 dollars. While the second ranked city was city A, and the bottom of the list was still city D with well over 500 dollars. Looking at the table more closely, one can see that during 2008, the proportion of workplace vacancy occupied 16 percent, which was nearly three times as much as that in city A with the figure standing at 6 percent. Nevertheless, there were 23 percent of apartments that are empty in city D, followed by city E, C, A and the final position was city B with only 2 percent.
