Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tehran, Iran

Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tehran, Iran oDYnw
To: Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tehran, Iran Subject: Motivation letter for Master degree in Structural chemistry and Spectroscopy Dear officials of the German embassy in Iran, My name is Niloufar Safizadeh Shabestari, I am from Iran and I was born in Tehran. I am bachelor degree graduate from Tehran Central University, in Applied Chemistry and I am writing this letter to express my motivations in applying for a study visa to pursue my study in Germany as a chemist. I am eager to study in Germany, because German universities are above global higher education standards. In addition Germany is famous for having high-quality and best academic and practice oriented programs and all of this the safe and friendly environment is really eye catching. Also, Germany is a safe country for international students and has wonderful nature. It has also stable economically and politically conditions that make it a first destination for many students from all the world. Currently, there are more than 2. 9 million students in Germany, more than 400, 000 foreign students among them. In addition studying in Germany gives me a great opportunity to reinforcement German language near my Persian and English languages. Since I was a child, I loved to discover and analyze different complex things and find out what the ingredients were, and when I went to school, I found my greatest interest in chemistry, because chemistry allowed me to understand the structure of materials. So I decided to study chemistry at university. Also, after completing my bachelor's degree, I became acquainted with the field of structural chemistry and spectroscopy by doing a lot of research on different trends in chemistry. Moreover, I have great interest to further my education in structural chemistry and spectroscopy at Leipzig University, because it is a field which is research-oriented, introduces advanced spectroscopic methods and I developed interest in. Structural chemistry and Spectroscopy is considered an advanced and developed field in Germany, and the reason is that chemists are able to systematically analyses and further develop complex scientific and technical processes from a material perspective and this will allow them to solve problems and help people. In addition, the goal of this program is to enable students to think and work independently as scientists and to successfully solve problems in various scientific and technical fields. I am also sure that I will be very successful in this field, because it is my favorite dream field that I have always been looking for. I decided to study in Germany in (Leipzig University/ faculty of Chemistry and Mineralogy) for many reasons. First of all, the advancement in education and the top quality which earns the students internationally renowned degrees specifically in the field of structural chemistry and spectroscopy that I am aiming to study. One of great advantages in this program is the education focuses on both ways the theoretical and practical, which readies up students for their career. In addition, Leipzig University is ranked 201 in Academic Ranking of World Universities and is the second old university in Germany and this encouraged me to choose this University to further my education. Furthermore, Leipzig University has a large body of international students and various kind of facilities like student dormitories and this will allow me to live more comfortable. One special aspect of Leipzig University is its centrally located campus in the heart of the city. This university has been closely linked to life in Leipzig as a city of culture, sport, and media. Moreover, Germany is a renowned country in industry and work with various companies which are related to the field of my study, and this give me a good chance to make my internship by one of these companies during my education. On the other hand, the career and future prospects are a major encouraging factor due to the great job market opportunities and increasing demand for specialized people in this field. Therefore after finishing my studies, I will come back to my hometown, because I love to live with my parents and work in my home country. Finally, I have never been to Germany, but it is very gratifying for me to study there, meet new people and see the beauties of Germany up close. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to a favorable reply. Sincerely, Niloufar Safizadeh Shabestari
