The column graph depicts that in the year 2002, the ratio of the number of accidents and injury per 100 million passenger miles travelled by five different transport medium. Furthermore, demand response has the highest number of incidents and injury which is 250 and 175 respectively. To begin with, the commuter rail is the safest of all other transportation due to the fact that the incident and injuries are the least. Moving on to the heavy rail, that chance to get in an accident are 50 out of 100 million PMT, and for injury, it is 4% lower than the accident. On the other hand, Light rail and bus have a similar number of incidents whilst, the injuries are often seen more in bus compared with the light rail. Moreover, the difference of injuries is about 45% rise in Bus compared with the light rail. Finally, Demand response has the maximum chance to get in an accident.
