To have an assumption that a person will behave like his / her ancestor did is truly a wrong thought to have. Its liking judging a book by its cover without understanding the actual content in it. I disagree with the statement stated above. The reason to variance in the opinion is furnished in the paragraphs mentioned below.
Genes can play a vital role in the physical appearance. It is common for a daughter to look alike her Mom or Dad. Children might have same kind of physical features which can result in looking alike the ancestors. To illustrate, the popular Bollywood actress Hema Malini has two daughters Ahana & Esha. Both the daughters look like Hema in their appearance. But that does not mean their characters are same. Esha & Ahana both the sisters are very brave n bold unlike their mother Hema who is Shyer & Calmer. Thus, Apparently the physical features might be similar to the ancestors, but the character traits are contributed by the factors in the society we live.
On the other hand, the nature of the person is also a result of the society that the individual lives in. To illustrate further, if a person is from South side of India, they are more calmer and soft speaking people. At the same time, the people from North side of India are bolder and more outspoken.
To conclude, in my opinion, the maturity has a major role in the development and building of personality than what individuals have inherited from their forefathers. It is their personal choice to let penetrate the quality that they like from the society and be the individual with the traits they prefer.
