In modern times, getting any information from online is convenient. There are those who say that students can know any information through online. Therefore, the libraries are not needed anymore. I do not agree with this statement. This essay will argue that why libraries are also important.
Generally speaking, libraries are traditional to us. In a library, we can found many books about many topics. A library is a source of knowledge to a nation. Anyone can come to a library, and can get any information. We can get accurate record or information from a library. For example, if a student comes to a library he can get to know about many topics, not only the topic which he want. If a person want to find about history of a country, he can obviously find his wanted topic, but also he might find another topic interesting from a library. Because there are not only one book but also other books by the beside of each other. A library is also a quiet place. So, if anybody come to a library, he can also get relaxation. He can read in a comfortable place.
Admittedly, online can help anyone to find the information he wants. But, online is quiet distracting. For instance, if a student pop up his mobile or computer to find a book from online, he can be distracted by his smart device's other things. Also, he cannot know about other information beside his wanted information. Moreover, not everyone have the gadgets for looking their needed facts. So, a library can help them.
In conclusion, indeed, online can help students to know about their desire facts. However, libraries are more helpful. Therefore, given statement which dispute that libraries are not necessary, it is a futile anguement. I do not support it.
