The diagram depicts the structure of the public library comparing 20 years ago and today.
From an overall perspective, the whole central library has experienced the overall modernizaion in offering services such as adding self-service machines, introducing a cafe and offering storytelling events. In addition, the most noticeable thing to note is that all tables and chairs in the centre have been converted into modern sofa.
Looking details, children's book area has been replaced with lecture room in the top right corner of the library and there is a changing place of information desk from bottom to the middle with additional self-service machines and there is no more books for adult non-fiction however it is still accessible to read adult fiction book today. The library is now introducing a cafe which is from the right of the entrance.
Another interesting thing is that library is now offering storytelling events at the top left corner while actually it was an area for CDs, videos and computer games from 20 years ago. Reference books are now available today and reading room has been demolished today in order to give space for computer room.
