Proposal letter for a web designer position
Proposal letter for a web designer position pdBMD
Dear Sirs,
Re: Web Designer
I am last-year student, studying graphic design major with minor in web development in Kyiv-Mohyla academy. I am writing to apply for the Web Designer position, that you are offering in job advertising magazine.
I have been interested in web design for many years: since school I have enjoyed making presentations and was quite successful in that. During the last classes I was curious in web design and development – I learned Canva, Figma, html/css/js on my own. As a result, when I had to choose which degree to get, I was sure what I want. I am one month ahead of defending my graduate project and would like to get a job in your company. I heard a lot of good reviews about it from my friends, who had internship positions here, and I am glad I have met this opportunity.
I am responsible, creative, and proactive person. I like working in a team and being involved in different discussions and presentations. As I have web development minor, I know how to design website in a way that it will be user-friendly, easy-to-develop and easy-to-maintain. I speak English fluently, Ukrainian is my mother tongue, while German and Lithuanian I know on intermediate level, so it will be easier for me to design websites ad get necessary feedback with clients from these countries. I had internship positions in EPAM Ukraine as a software developer, in Tetrada as a graphic designer and in TUMO Kyiv on website designer and graphic design teacher positions. Additionally, I used to take some offers on freelance in both web design and development, you can see all my projects on GitHub (there is a link in my CV). In my spare time I usually take different courses or attend some lectures/hackathons in web design/development field to enhance my skills and keep up with technologies. I see my future in your company, as a Fullstack Web Developer or on Project Manager position.
I am available at any time convenient to you and looking forward to meeting you to discuss my application.
Regards,
Andrii Matsevytyi
