The given process describes the steps involved in recycling of plastic bottles, It comprises of 9 steps in total which begins on individual level and ends with making new products out of the already used once First and foremost consumers have to throw recyclable bottles in appropriate bins. From there the contents of the bin are collected by a garbage truck and transported to a recycling centre. It is here that sorting takes place and materials are divided into recyclable or non recyclable. The former is then sent to another chamber where all the bottles are compressed into huge blocks, these large cubes of plastic bottles are then subjected to crushing and washing. While crashing reduces these large particles into tiny ones, washing clears them of any impurities or dust present The sixth step involves reducing the small pieces into even tinier plastic pellets. The next stage of the cycle consists of subjecting them to high degrees of temperature to form raw materials for the next stage. These materials are then transported to various factories across the city to be used as building blocks to produce finished and products, with the consumers than buy.
