Education has changed a lot over the years, from schools without proper infrastructure to AC classrooms and projectors. Over the years with growing technology, education has also changed drastically. Though there are contrasting opinions on its benefits, we need to adapt to the change. The following three paragraphs discuss in detail whether traditional learning is better or online learning. It is true that in-person interactions with the teacher in the classroom are essential as students not only learn theoretical knowledge but also values like discipline, honesty, fair play, etc. More importantly during COVID-19, when classes were online, students used to miss classes regularly or would just join the meet, without paying any attention. This clearly had drastic effects on students as they lagged behind in studies and could compete well in exams. Additionally, during physical classes, it is easier for students to ask questions to the teacher as well and teachers can pay more attention to each student. This is not the case in online classes so, only the ones serious about studies excel and others don't. Many believe that online learning is more effective, this is mainly because teachers can use diagrams, images, and videos to explain the concepts in a better way and many times these are more effective than theoretical knowledge. We may not remember long passages about a topic easily, but if we have seen an image related to it we can easily recollect that. Thus in many ways, online learning is effective, like saving online lectures to rewatch them later, giving quizzes on a subject to test practical knowledge, and interactive slides to catch children's attention. In conclusion, using online platforms for learning is useful if used appropriately, there are chances a student will not pay attention to online lectures and hence, all the tests and images are of no good.
