The table compares the five countries in terms of the amount of consumer spending on several items in 2020.
It is clear that money spent on food, beverages, and smoking in Turkey stood first among other countries as well as leisure and education in 2020. While spending on clothing in Italy had the highest amount of number in the same year.
Out of $100 spent by the Turkish, just over $30 was spent on food, drink, and tobacco products as well as around $4. 50 spent on leisure and education which ranked first among other countries that have been shown in both categories. By contrast, expenditure on food, drink, and tobacco was just under 16%, and on clothing was approximately 5. 50% which was the lowest amount in Sweden in 2020.
The contribution of consumer expenditure in clothing was similar in 3 countries, namely Turkey, Ireland, and Spain, which were around 6. 50%, while money spent on clothing in Italy accounted for the highest proportion 9. 00% in 2020.
