The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017. 9D8Yx
The line graph gives information about the quantity of tourists who visited one of Caribbean islands from 2010 to 2017. Overall, there was an upward trend in how many tourists visited this Caribbean island – the figure tripled by the end of the surveyed period. Likewise, the number of people who stayed on cruise ships or on the island grew by 2017, although the former ones showed a greater increase compared to the latter ones. While visitors staying on the island prevailed over those who stayed on cruise ships at the beginning of the studied period, this changed in the middle of 2015, when the number of people from the two categories became equal. In the next one and a half years, the quantity of those who preferred cruise ships overtook the number of visitors preferring to stay on the island and stopped at two million, which was five hundred thousand people more than in the other category of visitors. The figure for people visiting the island showed the smallest changes over the period – starting at one million visitors in 2010, this quantity doubled over the next five years, reaching nearly one and a half million people. However, this figure stayed the same over the next two years, slightly dropping by a quarter of a million and finishing at the level of 2015.
