I believe that people tend to run their own businesses for two main reasons: to enhance their self-confidence and to save their effort. However, it is important to acknowledge that having one's own business can also lead to several disadvantages. In my opinion, some individuals choose to be self-employed because they desire to be independent and self-reliant. This desire ultimately leads to an increase in their self-confidence and the overall quality of their work in the long run. Additionally, some people dislike being ordered around or being looked down upon by others. They prefer to work for themselves and avoid wasting their time and effort, as they value their own contributions. However, I also believe that being one's own boss comes with several disadvantages. When starting a business, individuals become solely responsible for their work. This often requires sacrificing leisure time and relationships in order to achieve their goals. Furthermore, if they fail, they may feel like losers. Additionally, starting a business requires a significant investment of both money and time. If problems arise, individuals may risk losing their property. In conclusion, some people choose to have their own business in order to boost their confidence and acknowledge their efforts. However, it is important to recognize that being in this situation can also have disadvantages, such as wasting time, money, and relationships.
