To begin with, there is a popular idea that teenagers live through the most careless and enjoyable period. Hardly anyone expects from a teen willingness to take reasonable and serious decisions, taking responsibility for the family or younger siblings. This is a time when a teenage-boy or girl does the most crazy things, falls in love for the first time and gets his or her heart broken the very next day. Reminiscing fifteen-years-ago me it is easy to say that I was deeply convinced that was the greatest stage of my life.
However, there is a significant number of people who would argue for the statement that the happiest experience an individual can have only after becoming full-aged. Indeed, there are several benefits that adulthood brings in comparison to adolescence. For example, hardly any teetager can have a financial base to buy a car or afford having vacation in a foreign country. Therefore I agree that satisfaction from financial independence and vast opportunities to develop a career is a grown-up prerogative. Furthermore, most of my friends say they felt the strongest gladness only after they got married, had babies or managed to afford some big purchases, like their own house, which sounds irrelevant for younger ones.
To conclude, teenage years can be a very cheerful and memorable period in everyone’s life, although the most valuable moments and delightful events become accessible only to adult-aged individuals
