Usually, there are two types of people when it comes to planing the free-time. Some of us like to plan the activities for leisure time well in advance whereas, others do not plan at all. Depending on the selected approach, there are certain advantages associated with both of them. There are certain benefits of choosing to plan the free-time well ahead. Planning the leisure time allows for better utilization of this time. With this approach, people can avoid wasting their free-time by doing productive work instead of procrastinating. Additionally, a lot of time can be make use of which would be otherwise spent on deciding the activities to be performed. Another good aspect of planning the free-time is the possibility of making plans with friends and family. If planned in advance, the leisure time can be used for travelling or get together with our loved ones. On the other hand, there are advantages of not making any plans for the leisure time. It is more relaxing to avoid sticking to any plans which also provides an opportunity to a well-deserved rest. For a large group of people, spending their free-time resting or simply pursuing a hobby is far more refreshing. Apart from this, there is no need to worry and strictly adhering to the planned activity. With no compulsion to follow a planned schedule, people can manage their free-time as required. Personally, I prefer to plan the leisure time in advance as it allows better utilization of the time and eliminates the need to perform the tasks in an ad-hoc fashion. There are advantages of both the approaches and it really depends on the type of person which approach suits them.
