it is widely held believe that freedom should be given to pupil to evaluate their class teacher so as to get good quality education. There is strong counter argument among section of people that they are not allowed to do so it will be down the reputation of school as well as teacher there are some relevant factors and suitable examples that are discussed below in the subsequent paragraphs.
the first and foremost reason is why student can give feedback regarding their behaviour and teaching way of teacher is that it will boost the quality of education. in other word, as many taecher are not providing effective teaching that would be put the student career in risk. it is the right of student to choose their teacher and complaint their tutor if they are not satisfied with them. Inspite of compromising with them. therefore, children would learn about deference between right and wrong. For instance, a recent survey conducted by an eminent researcher Dr Max Weber at Oxford university revealed that 35% improved the progress report of pupil after enact the rule of teacher evaluation.
on contrary their is some section of people vehemently contend that complaining of teacher in front of higher authorty would ruin the discipline and reputation among them. To be more specific, As young ones are not experienced enough as teachers. even they are not knowledgeable so it would not be suitable to evaluate the educator. Although it is the right of child but some time leaner may be biased while giving feedback. Thus it would ruin the study experience. To illustrate, Mrs salybuzbee editor in chief of Washington post in her editorial clearly stated that australian school academy had lost many brilliant tutors owning to evaluation criteria that had been set by learner.
In conclusion, after analysing both view i am of opinion that student should give feedback of teacher due to its their right and it would make a path of prosprous career for them.
