There are various opinions concerning spending leisure time after work. Although some like to spend their spare time with their families, others prefer to gather together with their colleagues. I consider that spending time with our families is far more desirable. In this essay, I will look at both sides of the argument. On the one hand, there are several reasons why people like to spend their free time with their families, especially parents. Individuals frequently spend a considerable amount of time in offices and with their co-workers. Therefore, they prefer to spend as much time as they can accompanying their families, the same as their parents did when they were children. Furthermore, some jobs are too stressful, working for 8 hours a day for six days in a row is demanding. For example, surgeons often work in a taxing atmosphere due to the delicate surgeries they perform. Thus, it is better to spend free time with relatives that not only can help to get rid of work stress but also raises our spirits for the next working day. On the other hand, spending time with co-workers has some advantages. Firstly, we can discuss different projects and share our ideas with others. Secondly, it helps us to become familiar with various abilities that each person has. Finally, some people who are migrants, do not have any friends there. Thus, if they could have some leisure time with their workmates, it would help them to feel less alone. In conclusion, although spending leisure time with colleagues has several benefits, it seems to me that accompanying families is of importance.
