Most sportspersons are paid heavily for their work. How far do you think such payments are justified?

No doubt, high earnings of professional sports-stary are often questioned and for many it seem to be an extravagance. I personally, however, disagree with this view point to a great extent. This essay will examine the arguments for and against the given statement. To begin, the first argument to put forward in the favour of high salaries sportsmen is to acknowledg their hard work. The fact Cannot denied, to be successf in the field of sports a person has to show a lots of hardship and make sacrifices. For example, an average athlete takes training and practice for more than 10 years on which he invests heavily, yet the chances of being selected in national team are one in million. Understandably, their diligence deserves to be awarded. Monover, most sports person have a very short-lived career and during their tenure with their performance they make the country feel proud. Since they cannot make their living with their career for long time, it is reasonable to pay them handsomely. However, I tend to believe paying. too much to the players may prove to be counter-productive. Needless to say, like other professions athletes also work for money. But when they are paid excessively they indulge in lavish lifestyle for example, going for holidays, shopping, eating out and others and start to compromise with their game. As a consequence, their performance gets badly affected moreover, it may create unrest in the society as other & professionals who work with dedication and Sincerity who expect to be paid accordingly. To conclude, I would like to restate, it is very very important for the state to pay the sports person handsomely to keep their enthusiasm, and morale high although such payment may see unrealistic to few.
