Some people believe that young people should follow older generation’s example .Others, however , disagree and believe that it is good to challenge older people’s opinions and thoughts .Discuss both views and give your own opinions.

Most people consider that the seniors’ example should be followed by the youth, however, others don’t accept this statement and they want to challenge the ideas from older people. From my point of views, I totally agree with both opinions as each side has its own advantages. On the one hand, today’s young people still need to follow the older people’s opinions. This is because most of them have a number of life experiences and knowledges. Therefore, it would be better to ask for appropriate suggestions from them. For example, it would be better to discuss about running a small business with the seniors ones who have already success in this particular field. Besides, these seniors have many experiences whether it is sweet or bitter. Due to the facts that, the young people would avoid some mistakes by listening to the lessons from the older people’s past mistakes. For these reasons, the older generation’s advices are still essential for the young generation to learn any new things and previous problems from the seniors. On the other hand, although the old people can give better opinions, the young ones should do some challenges for their instructions in this era. Firstly, most of the seniors are old-fashioned and so, their ideas are not up-to-date to follow. Secondly, some perspectives of older people might not be acceptable in this contemporary era. For instances, the old people love the ones who can do hardworking, in contrast, the majority of young people prefer smart working to hardworking as they believe that it is time and effort saving. Thirdly, thoughts of the youth are creative and innovative for our modern world. Therefore, the young people can achieve many great successes by following their brilliant ideas. All in all, I am willing to suggest that young people should listen the ideas from the older generation and create these ideas to become innovative and successful in their lives.
