There are split views regarding dominance on the public worldwide. Many individuals think that the largest number of people believe the scientists; however, others think that politicians are most trusted in the world. If questioned, I strongly support former view because of some reasons. My inclination is justified in the ensuing write-ups.
On the one hand, there are several arguments to support former point of view. The first and foremost one is that science persons have given many innovations. In other words, various scientists have discovered several inventions such as telephone, internet and computers, which bring revolution in mankind; therefore, public think they are more trustworthy. Moreover, scientists have evidence about their researches. To illustrate, people think that if science persons had scientific proof, they would given opinion about those topics. For example, there is a survey which was conducted by Cambridge University in 2021; it revealed that 63% public did not believe news about corona virus until scientists represented some samples.
On the contrary, other people counterclaim that politicians have more influence. The reason is that politicians have larger impact on social media. To elaborate, there are large amount of people follow them on social networks; hence, they can put stuffs on internet and the most population get information. For instance, there are 35% politicians in the world who have more than 10 million followers on Facebook. Furthermore, political leaders have authority over public. To reformulate, the highest number of decisions regarding general citizens are in the hands of politicians.
In conclusion, although politicians have larger number of supporters and some power, I firmly believe that scientists have more dominance over public because of their past grate discoveries and scientific proofs.
