Tourism has become incredibly common and that helped English to become predominant language in the world. It is considered by many that English may one day become the only language to be spoken universally. Having one language would definitely be convenient for everybody to communicate easily around the world but it might also result in disappearance of their cultures. The greatest benefit of having one language is that people will have a lot of chances to communicate with different people from different countries that would have been otherwise impossible if they had have various languages in the world. Being in another country requires people to push themselves beyond the norm into unusually difficult experiences. To cite an example, most of the people travel abroad to work or study and they need to know the language of that country. In that case, having one language would certainly help people to communicate and continue their work or study without difficulties. One of the drawbacks of having one language is that people might lose their own cultures. In the world, there are many lots of languages with it's own cultures. If people speak only English globally, they lose their own languages with their own cultures. For instance, every culture has it's own values and having only English to be spoken universally will lead not only the disappearance of cultures but also the history of every country. English is becoming the most prominent language in the world and it might one day be possible to have one language globally. Having one language would be the best for everyone to communicate without difficulties with everybody in the world but it might also cause the lost of cultures of countries. Therefore, everyone has to try not to lose their own traditions while having one language in the world.
