Illustration chocolate produced jVN
The illustrations show how chocolate is produced. Firstly, ripe red pods are picked from cacao tree. Usually, cacao trees are grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. Next, the pods are harvested to remove white cocoa beans. After that, the beans are fermented in a large tray and will be spread in sun until dry. In the subsequent stage, the beans are put into the large sacks which are transported by train or lorry to be taken to the factory. As soon as it arrives at the factory, the beans are roasted at a temperature of 350 degrees. Furthermore, the beans are crushed to separate from outer shell. In the last stage, this remaining inner part is pressed, then liquid chocolate is produced.
