A group of individuals thinks that in the upcoming age boundaries between nations would be absent. However, some argue that these boundaries would still retain. This essay will discuss both points of view and my view towards this topic.
On one hand, a world without borders seems to be a dream for a certain group of people. It is believed that if there are no borders separating between a country and another country, laws, and regulations would be lightened, such as visas on arrival. One of the examples is seen between Malaysia and Singapore. Despite being separated geographically; these two countries don’t require visas on arrival. As a result, tourists are eased and are able to easily explore these two nations, thus making advancements in tourism and diplomatic relationships are improved.
On the other hand, in certain places, boundaries should be implied due to a number of factors. One of them is the historical background of both countries, such as North Korea and South Korea. These two countries have different ideologies which is certainly the cause of the Korean war. Without boundaries closed, chaos and disruption may spread amongst nations. Another factor in the implementation of boundaries is security. For example, the US Government has tight control of the US-Mexico border to prevent the smuggling of drugs from Mexico due to the high crime rate there. India and Pakistan also have strict-controlled borders to prevent any illegal migrants from entering their countries.
According to my point of view, a world without boundaries seems almost impossible as there are still many countries that disliked each other, security problems and their historical background. Yet, each country is encouraged to try and create better international relationships to tear up the boundaries separating them.
To conclude, boundaries between countries may seem to vanish completely due to a number of factors such as historical backgrounds and security problems. However, every nation is to try to build up better relationships between them.
