During the most recent times, tourism has become so popular that a number of people are interested to visit places which are beautiful but inconvenient due to their location and geography. Sahara Desert or Antarctica has become an area of interest to many tourists in spite of having a lot of challenges.
The main reason why people want to explore these places may be the thirst of adventure and the curiosity to know the unknown. People visiting those areas want to have a lifelong experience to be remembered in the rest of their life. Moreover, there are some unique opportunities to feel the nature from heart, to hear the chirping of rare birds, to see the beautiful penguins, to enjoy extinct mammals like whales etc. People will also have a firsthand experience to watch how climate change has an adverse effect on earth specially the melting of snows and rise in the sea level are causing loss of livable areas for a number of inhabitants.
On the downsides, these attractions have a lot of challenges to overcome by the travelers. The geography, weather, transportation may pose a threat to conquer these places. The visitors may face underlying threats of dehydration, fatigue and even in extreme cases life may be at a stake. For instances, during recent times a number of travelers lost their lives in the hill districts due to heavy rainfall causing landslide.
In conclusion, venturing in such places can give an everlasting experience of life to tourists though there are a lot of obstacles to overcome. People should be aware of these challenges before they plan to pay a visit to these areas.
