In the contemporary era, space has become an interesting topic that many research entities exerts a considerable a, Lunt of effort to explore it; however, a plethora of people believe that exploring other planets is not worth all the money that could be directed towards tackling the urgent troubles our world is facing. This essay will parse both perceptions, and in furtherance declares my position.
On one hand, exploring the potential of the vast space surrounding us is a critical aspect that we should pay a lot of attention to, the outcomes is such directions may be a turning point in the history of humanity at all; furthermore, numerous corporates are spending a significant amount of money on this area, this is exemplified in Tesla and Amazon, for instance, they could find a planet that has the resources needed for living, or aliens. Although this is a crucial juncture contributing to future, does it deserve all these frightening investments?
On the other hand, our planets faces a lot of immediate challenges that should be solved instantly, this is pivotal as if it was not dealt with, it would have deterimental consequences on human beings as whole, for example, global warming is real trouble that we are confronting which could lead to destroying whole continents with its nations and their cultures; moreover, poverty is spreading everywhere on earth, and many children do not have the essential resources to survive. Consequently, our attention should be pointed towards these disasters.
In conclusion, whether to spend our resources on astronomy or on the global issues facing all the countries is a controversial subject, in my opinion both parts are important; nevertheless, we should be focusing more on the critical and challenging aspects.
