Some people advocate the death penalty for those who committed violent crimes. Others say that capital punishment is unacceptable in contemporary society. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of the death penalty and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

There is no doubt in the fact, that the people, who were influenced by a crime, always wanted to punish their offenders.   And the more terrible transgression, the stronger penalty victims desired to apply for them. Of course, for a murder, many of people suggested employing a capital punishment and applied in the past. Today, most countries refused the death penalty due to humanitarian reasons. The modern society prefers long imprisonment including life sentence as the punishment for a murder and other violent crimes. However, some big and progressive countries still have it. But why? Let us try to keep away from all sentimental thoughts in our heads for answering this question. First of all, we need to discover a reason. In my opinion, it was hidden in advantages and disadvantages of the deathly retribution indeed. From a point of view of a government, the most important advantage is a complete absence related dilemma with an expenditure of human sources and finance to detain in prisons and at providing social rehabilitation. Along with this, the affected person and part of society, which have been compassionated them will have not a pursuit from side of the offender. However, as disadvantage, the permission of a death penalty increases a power of rulers. In the best of the worst case, it might enhance to make death sentence, due to investigation mistake, in the worst case, the corrupt men at  power will be able to organize this action if they have occasion or wish for it. Consequently, the application of death penalty is possible in that contemporary society, which supports human rights and accepted laws only. However, personally, I am against the capital punishment. Only God has possibilities to decide it.
