In today`s globally expanding era it is more and more easier to travel across the world. Countries spend a lot of budget on tourism inorder to attract tourists from different part of the world. Some people states that this will benefit countries economy others tend to think that government should spend of the funding to other fields of life.
This essay will discuss wether advantages of tourism outweigh disadvantages.
On the other hand, tourism in one of the main source of income in some countries. Such countries like Turkey, Thailand or UAE are dependent on tourism. Tourism creates a bif number of workplaces for people, invests a lot of money in country via taxes and attracts international funding. It is true, that tourism lowers the numbers of unemployed people. Moreover, many business which getting their income from tourists pay a lot of taxes. Additionally, The rise of economy of any country attracts foreign inverstors to bring more money.
On the other hand, people also agree that local government should also pay their attention on problems like public transportation, increase of wages and safety. For instance, it is very important to invest more money into public transportation. On the fact that, it should be faster and cheaper. Also, local government should influence the salary increase because people should be paid more on their tabs. Although, public commuting and salaries are easier to solve than safety of people. Local authorities should make the rules that protects citizens.
Overall, in my personal opinion it is more important to develop tourism in countries on the fact that it enourmously boosts economy and help to solve other problems. A lot of investmentsare coming abroad in those touristic countries, there there it is easier for them to invest the budget into community.
