In many countries people do not utilize the number 13, walk under ladders, or break mirrors. They try to avoid those mentioned activities. The particular reason is that they believe if they perform those actions it can cause bad luck.
To begin with, there is no single definition of superstition, it fundamentally means a belief in supernatural force. A number of people suppose that those activities have exceptional meanings. Nevertheless, I do not agree with them. Undoubtedly many superstitions are based on religion. For instance, the number 13 was associated with the Biblical lost Supper.
However, they have no basis in science. Superstitions are out of date nowadays. Although, it used to be well-known in the past years. The way I see it those actions are concoctions and fabrications invented by people. They should not trust this kind of flaxes. When people try to consider logically they will understand that nothing bad will happen after accomplishing those activities.
In conclusion, superstitions do not have any special significance. People should not pursue this kind of flaxes. They do not impact our lives.
