Rising Challenges for parents on Trending Digital Education

Since the covid-19 pandemic has hit the world in 2019, conventional functioning of the world has been transformed into digital functioning of the world and one of those functions was education where students used to go to schools and gain knowledge and education. But covid-19 has made to switch to digital education or we can say e-learning or long distance education. Digital education can be defined as the learning facilitated by technology without being physically present at any knowledge and education providing institutes. Digital learning is advantageous as it is easier to access by offering flexibility. It also reduces the cost of transportation and accommodation of both students and teachers and many more but as we know everything comes with some advantages and disadvantages. Talking about the challenges that parents have been facing due to digital education is keeping their wards focused on school lectures and schoolwork which has been the gravest concern for parents. Another challenge faced by parents is to maintain their daily routine by balancing household works, office work and schoolwork of their wards. Also lack of attention of teachers on individual students put pressure on parents to teach their wards the topics that they couldn't understand in the interactive session. One challenge also includes students being at home getting distracted easily while attending online lectures due to flexibility of the availability of the lectures and study material at any time. These are some of the many challenges faced by the parents due to digital learning.
