Railways are the old means of transport where a few thousands of people travel every day. Nowadays, technology got advanced where there are different types of trains like short distance trains, long-distance trains. Based on comfort and safety, this essay sides with traveling by train as an overwhelmingly beneficial than by roads.
Most of the people are used to luxury to explain, trains provide berths where people can sleep and sit along the journey. To travel long-distance a train might be the right choice. This is because the train travels at high speed and helps passengers to reach their respective destination in time without any delay. Traveling by train also cuts the expenditure like the ticket is very cheap and the train travels through mountains, rivers, lakes where everyone loves to enjoy the nature by peeping out of the window.
The other factor for choosing rail is safety. For example, due to more vehicles on the road accidents might occur. However, the travel by train is comparatively less. Secondly, the train produces very less pollution that is emitted to air and although it consumes more fuel.
To conclude, the factors mentioned above support why the government should spend more money on the railways for the safety and comfort purposes of the citizens.
