Dear Grandmother, I am writing this letter to apologize that I couldn't take time out to visit our home during the Easter Holidays. I had been very busy to complete the extra work in my semester studies for the entire month leading up to the holidays.
Sorry to write this letter so late as I was finishing up various assignments for the third term. This semester I am assisting my professor on an academic project and I have to complete the research activities before we begin our trials. This will greatly help me in getting my degree with top grades.
I promise you that, I will come home to visit for a week next month and, we will go to the theatres to watch a movie or go to your favorite restaurant. I will make sure that during the summer holidays I will stay for at least 3 weeks.
Do take care of your health and I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
