People living in large cites today face many problems in their everyday life. What are these problems? Should governments encourage people to move to smaller regional towns? e8767
With the success of industrialization and modernization globally, the world is living an up-to-date life. Nonetheless, this phenomenon has led to several issues for citizens, particularly those accommodating in large cities such as LA, New York, and others. There are three primary problems that huge metropolises are dealing with. High-intensity tension is one of them. In modern society, people have to accomplish numerous tasks like making money or buying houses. The fast pace of life does not allow anyone to take a rest for even a second, as valuable opportunities will pass away once missing it. Consequently, people nowadays have to work under high-level pressure frequently, affecting their work efficiency and daily life. The considerable increase in crime rates is also a serious problem in large cities. It is an odd reality in huge metropolises that, in recent years, the more modern the society becomes, the higher the crime rates get. Many evildoers have been committing hundreds, if not thousands of robberies, even murders to steal money and goods, strongly affecting the security and citizens’ life. Furthermore, as manufacturers and the number of vehicles expand in large cities, lots of emissions and chemicals are released into the atmosphere and rivers, harming living species, including humans. Many strategies and policies can be gone through to resolve the mentioned issues; however, encouraging citizens to move to smaller regions or countryside is not one of them. It is obvious that city lifestyle has numerous diferences compared to small-region routine. There is no guarantee of living in a smaller place that would potentially solve metropolis’s problems. Moreover, citizens will have to accustom themselves to a new environment. In some circumstances, this can lead to even more serious issues, especially mental problems like depression or anxiety disorder. To summarize, every region has its problems, and so do large cities. The best strategy is to start getting along with it and try to step-by-step deal with them in the near and far future, instead of applying temporary solutions such as moving to minor regions or towns.
