Overall, Landfill is the most used method for Waste disposal in the Toronto and the Amman whereas incineration is the most used waste disposal method in Madrid and Kuala Lumpur. Composting is the least used method(not more than 10%) for all of these cities. Furthermore, the most significant difference in waste disposal method between the Composting and the Landfill method in Toronto.
In terms of Landfill, Toronto is disposed more than 70% waste as opposed to the Amman, which is just under a half. Similarly, in Madrid and Kuala Lumpur, Landfill is used around 28% and 15% respectively for waste disposal. In Madrid and Kuala Lumpur, Incineration is used 40% and just over a half respectively whereas in Toronto(only 10%) and in Amman (around 38%) of waste is disposed by incineration.
