Many small, local shops are closing as they are unable to compete with large supermarkets in the area. How does this effect local community? How could this be improved?

Nowadays, it is clear to say that the vivid majority of small shops are closing as they are not rivalry equal between big mall shops in a particular area. It could lead various of problems to the local dwellers as it might possess a monopoly company and to tackle this issue the state authorities should supervise the product price. Firstly, small shops might be conquered by the huge supermarkets as they will have to close. The main reason for this, is that they are able to purchase products by a cheap retailer price and realize trade turnover much faster relatively. Another problem is that, inconvenience for inhabitants will be increased because of location. It will not be always safe to make purchases at a night time for majority of citizens. One clear example is that, most of people make shopping on a daily basis and they will suffer as it is annoying to walk a long distance just to buy some meal. The main solution would be making governmental persons supervising trade prices due to deactivating the process of monopolization. Also it will make affordable prices for citizens and help local shops to compete to big markets. Another solution is that, the state authorities should allocate loans to small businesses due to make it more competitively capable to big markets. For instance, supporting small shops the government could reduce crime rate due to dwellers will not walk far distances, and it might be less chances to be robbed by the pocket lifters. In conclusion, it is clear to say that disappearing of small shops will lead to monopolization of big companies and inconvenience for local habitants, these issues might be tackled by opening new opportunities for small businesses and taking under control the trade prices.
