In most of the countries the rise of accident has caused severe headaches to the law enforcement department. Compared to the past the accident has increased considerably but at the same time we should keep in the mind that number of vehicles has increased too. Some of the accident occurs due to recklessness of the driver while others to negligence and other factors. Road accident are common these days. There are various reasons behind it. People usually believe that most of the accident take place due to driver’s fault and to some extent it is valid. Some irresponsible driver drink and drive or they might drive while talking on phone. Others are simply reckless and do not care for the safety of themselves or others. Other contributing factors are sudden jaywalker, stray animals coming in the way of drivers and careless overtaking on highways. Some drivers who travel long distance have tendency to fall asleep. On contrary, the development of technology has helped the automobile sector to introduce new safety features to lessen the accidents and to safeguard the passengers involved in it. Nowadays, vehicles are equipped with features such as sleep detection, auto barking on detection of jaywalker or stray animal. The introduction of Advance driver system has enabled vehicle to detect the other vehicles in the blind spot. However, these features are present in the higher variants only which is of the concern. All in all, the safety of the passengers is in the hand of the driver. No matter the how many safety features are enabled in a vehicle it the skills and the presence of driver which could create a safe and sound environment for driving.
