Public transportation is considered to be a great way to travel. Especially, the metro has lots of advantages over other public transports. It is agreed that the metro is the most convenient way to get around a city. Analyzing both the cost of tickets and absence of traffic jams will show this.
Firstly, public transports have a constant cost that does not change according to the distance between the station and destination. For example, it is commonly understood that the cost of a ride on taxi differs according to the price of a gas, however, the use of the metro would cost the same as if there were no changes. Consequently, metro would be a better choice if to consider long distance travels.
Secondly, metro does not face the problems occurred by extreme traffic around a city. For instance, in a modern country it is common to see the traffic jams because of enormous number of vehicles on the roads. That is not a problem for metro because of not having a connection with other types of transport. From this it becomes a quite evident that the metros are more convenient for moving inside a city.
In conclusion, public transports and especially metro is seemed to be the best way for long distance and local rides around a city. Thus, it is clear why the idea metro being the best way to travel can be supported. After analyzing this subject, it is predicted that the positive aspects of the claim over public transport being better than other ways of moving will forever be stronger than the negative ones and because of this car will never replace public transports.
