During our practical experience we watched the lesson related to vocabulary. The topic of the lesson was about jobs. We had to carefully observe and analyze this lesson. In the process of observing this lesson, we witnessed some very interesting situations. The lesson is very well organized. The teacher began the lesson with an example, not an explanation of the topic. He asked the students different questions, gave them different tasks to complete, then the teacher gave the students a topic to discuss and encouraged them to work as a group. The teacher then began to introduce the students to new words on the topic. He also paid great attention to word pronunciation and stress. The lesson underwent intense processes in this way. The teacher then asked the students questions about what they had gone through to check that they understood the lesson. He finished the lesson after making sure everything was fine. If we analyze this lesson, the structure of the lesson is different from other lessons. The strengths of the teacher are that he is able to communicate very freely with students, speaks at a normal pace to make them understandable, and asks a variety of questions to find out how well students understand the task, as well as gives different examples based on life events. As for the teacher’s shortcomings, he did not make much use of modern teaching technologies. For example, he used only the presentation with the name of the subject, and only the pictures with the name of the profession. I support this teacher’s method of teaching, but at the same time I would have taken some steps to make it more effective and develop it, for example, interesting videos on this topic and various games I would have used.
