The diagram illustrates the various stages involved in selecting/ RECRUITING employees.
To begin, there is an assessment of what skills are required OF the new staff. BEFORE THE PUBLICATION step PROCEEDS, three STAGES / STEPS need to be performed, NAMELY researching and understanding the local job market, IDENTIFYING the specifications of the job and setTING a suitable salary for staff.
The following step is the first round of phone call interviews of potential employees. If this person does not pass, they will be rejected immediately. HOWEVER, IN CASE THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROUND, THEN a second round of telephone interviews is organized, AFTER WHICH more applicants are TURNED DOWN if they DO NOT MEET ALL THE CRITERIA. At this point, the remaining CANDIDATES then go to the next stage WHEN THEY VISIT the assessment center FOR THEIR SCORE TO BE calculated. If the score is not HIGH enough to enter, more rejections will be TAKEN. Finally, job offers will be proposed for QUALIFIED ONES.
