Nowadays newspapers publish information about the private lives of individuals. Some people think the government should maintain a certain control over the information that gets published, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Is not media getting involved too much in our lives? From my vantage point, the government should control the information getting published in newspapers as people do have their personal lives which they do want to share with public. Publishing private lives create awareness among people what has been going on in society but it is doing more harm than good.
Arguably, people are keen to know about the personal lives of celebrities and political leaders which helps them to follow the lavish lifestyle they are maintaining. Apart from this, people also come to know if any political leader is capable of ruling the political party or not by getting information about their personal life. In some cases, for instance, cricketers, superstars, and actors, sharing personal lives helps them to increase their followers.
Notwithstanding its brighter side, it is not without its drawbacks. Sharing their personal lives can sometimes put their life in danger, I read an article in BBC news that one of the political leaders of Congress party was shot dead as he was invited by a famous entrepreneur for the inaugural of his new business. It was published all over the news that he was the chief guest for that function. Everyone deserves a personal life and there should be some control to handle this. Apart from this, one of our neighbor's children got caught by the police in a case of robbery during the pandemic. He was caught stealing food to feed his family during that hard time but this got published in news and now no one in the society talks to them and the consequences is to be faced by the parents.
So the government should take some control in publishing the articles in the media.
To conclude, but for any doubt, publishing the private lives of the people is becoming the new normal and strict actions should be made by the government to control this as being a human, everyone needs a private life. Were the media to stop interfering in someone's life to earn a profit, it would by and by pave the way for a socially stable place to live in; lest good outcomes should be out of reach.
