New Cumbrian coalmine would prove UK hypocrisy, say experts around world

New Cumbrian coalmine would prove UK hypocrisy, say experts around world eqdPJ
In my last response, which was about protesters throwing tomatoes soup to priceless painting at the National Gallery in London to start the movement of opposing the use of fossil fuels to protect the environment. This movement spread widely around the world, but mainly concentrated in the UK. After these ferocious protests, it was anticipated that the British government would adopt a different perspective and make constructive changes. But at the result, the government authorized coal mining in Cumbrian, this action would have a lot of serious consequences. First of all, the Just Stop Oil demonstration was created to alert nations all across the world—not just the UK—to the threat that climate change poses if fossil fuel extraction and development are not stopped, yet the British government ignored it and continued to allow many new coal mines to be exploited. It reflects the British government's alleged lack of concern for environmental issues. This is the complete opposite of what they promised to the people and the world. From here on, citizens will completely lose faith in the government because of its selfishness and hypocrisy. Moreover, the British government only acts in their own best interests and leaves other nations to face the costs of their actions. This, of course, is unacceptable and unforgivable. Countries in Africa already struggle with a lack of resources, and yet the extraction of oil and coal from Britain causes them to experience greater natural calamities. While nations like Colombia are working to replace and eradicate fossil fuels to help safeguard the ecosystem as a whole, the UK is doing the opposite, it is a shame that a power like the UK has such self-centered attitudes and unethical behavior. Ultimately, because of Britain's considerable global sway, it is easy to foresee that these transgressions will encourage developing nations to follow suit. Then not just one country but many are mining coal, and it won't be long before we face the worst catastrophes.
