HOW TO BECOME INDEPENDENT

Being independent is an essential skill for young people who want to take more control of their lives and feel like they don't need others to accomplish their goals. Being more independent will give you the freedom to do what you want without caring what others think and it will also lead you to find some original solutions to your problems. It will be difficult because parents have the instinct to provide for us. If you don't have the money for these expenses, save aggressively. Not only will you gain financial freedom with your savings, but also the money you keep to yourself will give you an incredible feeling of independence and motivation. In addition, you can plan your day according to your schedule - make a list of what you want to do, what you need to do, and what you should have already done. For me, to become an independent person, we need skills like time management, finding information, getting around on our own, coping with loneliness, general housekeeping, health and hygiene, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication. But the most important skills are general housekeeping. Furthermore, it's also a basic skill in life that you need to have. It means the management of a home and the work that needs to be done in it, such as doing the laundry, cleaning the house, … needing to do every day. Last but not least, you don't have to be stubborn to be independent. If someone has really helped you out, then thank that person by giving him or her a sincere "thank you". There's nothing wrong in admitting that you do need help sometimes and it won't make you any less independent to acknowledge the times when you need help.
