Music between generations

Music is an important medium for any culture, and it evolves constantly with each generation. Modern music is no exception at that, and despite what many people feel about it. It is my firm belief that its advantages outweigh the disadvantages. A lot of people's concerns in regard to modern music stems from the fact that the widespread of this music contributes indirectly to the unpopularity of cultural music. This can affect cultures in a negative way as cultural music is an important part of how a culture expresses itself, and that by reducing the popularity of this certain music it helps in reducing the importance of this culture. while this is true, modern music can help communities from all around the world connect, and form great friendships. This will help in bringing people together which is a prime goal of music, and modern music does it on a global level. Secondly, it is imperative that we recognize that modern music is an evolution of music and that it speaks more to the newer generation than the old one. Thus we need to know that no other genre of music could fill this gap for the newer generation, as it is for them a form of expressing themselves. In conclusion, Modern music has a lot of advantages that in my opinion outweigh the disadvantages and that it appeals to a wider range of audience than any other music. which will help at bringing people closer and that is the aim of all music
